Part of the Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) protocol is to disclose every patient in order to make biofilm visible.
This step is crucial to generate a sense of motivation for better oral health care as well as higher acknowledgement for the importance of biofilm removal in patients.
Disclosing will also guide clinicians to use AIRFLOW® only where it’s needed as well as ensure that all biofilm is removed → colour removed = biofilm removed.
In order to be listed on the directory, dental professionals MUST disclose every patient.
You MUST follow the GBT protocol in order to be listed on the directory.
According to the ADA Guidelines for Infection Control, you MUST sterilise your ultrasonic scaler and AIRFLOW® handpieces after each patient.
You MUST use PLUS Powder in order to be listed on the directory.
You must have at least one SWISS DENTAL ACADEMY (SDA) trained clinician. If you or one of your clinicians haven’t attended a course yet, your practice will still be listed on the directory and you will have a 12 month grace period to complete a course.
